Bayview Engineering and Construction Company Inc. is a mechanical and General Engineering Class A Contractor specializing in the power generation, commercial and industrial markets, including food processing and biomass power generation. Headquartered in El Dorado Hills, California, Bayview was founded in the fall of 2009 by three partners with a combined experience of over 75 years. The primary focus of the company is repair, re-power, mechanical and electrical construction work specializing in new installations and fast-track maintenance outages. Bayview’s largest clients are Independent Power Producers and Utility based facilities, most notably the City of Redding, SMUD and numerous biomass power generation facilities including Tracy Biomass and Imperial Valley Resource Recovery Company. President
Bart Wood is an industry name and leader in Food Processing, Manufacturing, Biomass Power Plant Construction as well as field repairs for over 25 years. His resume includes construction of eleven (11) green field Biomass Power Plants ranging in size from 12-50 megawatts, seven (7) selective catalytic NOx reduction systems, and numerous wind turbines. In the last 25 years he has completed hundreds of power plant and food processing outages as well as manufacturing projects. His daily duties as a principal partner and V.P. of Construction at Bayview include development and sales support for new construction projects, emergency outages, coordination on scheduled shutdown projects, detailed project management for all construction projects within Bayview and a voice in the future growth and direction of the company. His extensive background in Biomass and Food Processing make Bayview one of the most experienced and knowledgeable contractors in those industries on the West Coast.
