Robert Ellery

President / CEO Robert (Bob) Ellery is one of the principal partners in the company with over 35 years of experience in power generation starting his career with General Electric.  He has been involved with permitting, procurement, construction and operation of hydroelectric, whole tire, rice hulls and biomass power plants on both Coasts of the U.S.  His resume includes decades of doing business in California as an owner’s representative on alternative energy and renewable energy projects utilizing a range of fuels from rice hulls to biomass to whole tires to produce energy. He is a founding member of the California Biomass Energy Alliance, the premier biomass energy trade association in the U.S., and a former long-time Board member of the California Independent Energy Producers Association.

Bart Wood

Vice President of Construction Bart Wood is an industry name and leader in Food Processing, Manufacturing, Biomass Power Plant Construction as well as field repairs for over 25 years.  His resume includes construction of eleven (11) green field Biomass Power Plants ranging in size from 12-50 megawatts, seven (7) selective catalytic NOx reduction systems, and numerous wind turbines.  In the last 25 years he has completed hundreds of power plant and food processing outages as well as manufacturing projects.  His daily duties as a principal partner and V.P. of Construction at Bayview include development and sales support for new construction projects, emergency outages, coordination on scheduled shutdown projects, detailed project management for all construction projects within Bayview and a voice in the future growth and direction of the company.  His extensive background in Biomass and Food Processing make Bayview one of the most experienced and knowledgeable contractors in those industries on the West Coast.

Pete Ellery

Vice President Pete Ellery, a principal partner in Bayview, graduated from Cal Maritime Academy and went to work for Siemens/Westinghouse as a turbine service engineer.  He spent his early years providing installation and maintenance services on turbine and rotating equipment for Siemens and another small turbine service company.  Pete later joined Sierra Pacific Industries where he installed several new Siemens turbine and generators, and became Cogen Plant Superintendent of SPI’s largest and newest biomass cogeneration facility.  He was responsible for equipment selection, site construction, and startup, followed by operation and maintenance of a 28 megawatt biomass cogeneration facility.  Pete is a licensed California contractor holding a C-4 boiler specialty license.
